Welcome to one of the most unusual pubs in the Midlands. It used to be the subject of a Trivial Pursuit question in that 'The Cat Inn' didn't open on Sundays. This dates back to a time when the local landowner gave a licence for the dispensing of liquor to the brewery but insisted on maintaining the sanctity of the Sabbath day. Well, times change and this is no longer the case - The Cat is definitiely open on Sundays these days!
It does take a day off on Mondays though. But one day's less drinking time means all the more reason to discover our wonderful little pub in the village of Enville for a tasty lunch in the bar or an evening meal in our renowned restaurant... ...we'll ensure it will be worth your while.
Guy and Michelle are your hosts at The Cat, which is a former 'South Staffordshire Pub of The Year' and take great pride in offering a good selection of real ales, spirits and fine wines and a menu which is cooked on the premises using fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming and there are three separate rooms with real fires in which to enjoy your food and drinks as well as a separate full service restaurant, with the same extensive menu available throughout.

Of course whilst our wonderful food is a key part of the Cat experience, we're here to offer a fascinating range of beers, ales and spirits, often offering interesting speciality ales and of course we offer the full range of Enville Ales including seasonal specials as and when they are brewed.
Our regulars include: Enville, Tetley Bitter, Guinness, Carlsberg, Strongbow and Scrumpy Jack.

The Cat is well served by a large car park, there is a delightful garden area where you can eat and drink when the weather is good and there's a pool and darts room too which opens onto the garden, so bring the family and enjoy yourselves.
